I acknowledge that I am fully responsible for the security of my personal possessions at the event and I indemnify all persons, organisations and authorities associated with the conduct of this event from any claim for loss of any or all of my personal possessions (including any claim of negligence on the part of any persons, organisations and authorities associated with the conduct of this event).

I acknowledge that this event involves the risk of serious injury or even death from various causes including over exertion, on and off course accidents, accidents with other participants, equipment failure, other road users, spectators, course conditions and weather conditions.

I understand that I should not participate in this event unless my medical practitioner has verified my physical condition and advised me that I am capable of doing so.

By entering this event, I accept all risks associated with my participation that could result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly I release all persons, organisations and authorities associated with the conduct of this event from, and will indemnify them against all liability (including liability for their negligence) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in this event. The persons released include but are not limited to event organisers, promoters. Creek to Creek, Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce Tourism and industry Inc., Port Macquarie Hastings Council, NSW National Parks and Wildlife, Event Sponsors and Supporters, contracted companies and all public authorities, all volunteers including medical staff and paramedical staff. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs’ executors and personal representatives.

I consent to receive any medical treatment in the event medical team believes appropriate in the circumstances before, during or after the event. I accept the medical aid arrangements put in place by the organisers. I understand and agree that in the first instance I am responsible for the provision of first aid to myself and those around me. As a participant or support crew I am responsible for myself or my team’s timely removal from the course to a medical facility. I give my consent to receive any first aid and medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event accident, injury and/or illness as a result of my involvement in the Event.

I will supply my own PFD for kayaking and Helmet for bike riding. (Both must be to Australian Standards)

I understand that the compulsory insurance cover for participants in this event may not cover me for all injury, loss or damage sustained by me and that I am responsible for my personal accident insurance and ambulance cover.

I understand that safety precautions undertaken by the event organisers (such as course supervision and participation safety briefings) are a service to me but are not a guarantee of safety.

I will provide, where necessary, event organisers with all details of my past and present medical or physical conditions that may affect my performance or be relevant if medical treatment is necessary.

I consent to event organisers using my name, image and likeness before during or after the event for event promotional broadcasting or reporting purposes in any media.

I agree to abide by the rules and directions of officials and I understand that my entry may be voided if through my actions or behaviour, in the opinion of the organisers, I break any of the rules or I bring this event into disrepute. I further understand that the organiser reserve the right to reject any entry without having to justify its actions.

I understand that my entry fee and any associated costs are not refundable in any circumstances, including cancellation of the event.
